Lightwave Battery (LW12V/12AH)

The Lightwave LW12V/12AH is a high-performance 12V 12Ah sealed lead acid (SLA) battery, designed for dependable power across a variety of critical applications including UPS systems, emergency lighting, alarm systems, security systems, and backup power for electronic devices. Engineered with durability and safety in mind, this valve-regulated lead acid (VRLA) battery features maintenance-free operation and exceptional energy density in a compact form.

This battery operates at a nominal voltage of 12V and offers a nominal capacity of 12Ah (20-hour rate), delivering consistent and reliable power output. It is built with a compact footprint—measuring 151mm in length, 99mm in width, and 95mm in container height, with a total height of 101mm. Despite its compact size, the LW12V/12AH weighs approximately 3.2 kg and uses a Fasten Tab No.187E terminal for secure and convenient installation.

The electrical performance of the Lightwave LW12V/12AH remains stable under various load conditions. It features excellent discharge characteristics, with a 1-hour rate of 7.2A and a 3-hour rate of 3.0A. Its internal resistance is low at 17mΩ when fully charged at 25°C, ensuring efficient power delivery. The battery retains 102% capacity at 40°C, 100% at 25°C, and still maintains 85% at freezing point (0°C), making it suitable for a range of environments.

For charging, the battery supports both cyclic and standby applications. In cycle mode, it charges with an initial current less than 3.6A at 14.4–15.0V. In standby mode, it operates at 13.5–13.8V with no limit on initial charging current. Its performance is further supported by stable constant current and constant power discharge ratings, providing long runtime and efficient power utilization during use.
